We are a small village school in beautiful rural surroundings close to Junction 12 of the M4, just on the outskirts of Reading. We are are looking to appoint a Finance Officer to join our hard working, small and friendly team. Ideally you will be able to start at the beginning of June to work alongside our current incumbant who is retiring at the end of the academic year, but if this is not possible we are willing to wait for the right person.
We welcome applications from highly talented individuals who have a proven ability to work with computerised financial management and accounting systems. Knowledge of SIMS/FMS would be ideal but if not training is available. You will have a high level of self-motivation, be IT confident and competent and have a professional and flexible approach. A good working knowledge of a range of communication and payment platforms wouild be ideal.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to grow in this role. You will be the only finance person in our school and as your experience develops this post offers you an opportunity for career enhancement to become an integral part of our staffing team.
This is a permanent position and would suit someone who is either looking at part time working (25 hours per week, days/times to suit) or someone who is looking for full time and can combine with working in another capacity.
